One of the greatest bowlers that the Cricketing fraternity has seen, is this man. Wasim akram, one of the formidable fast bowler of Pakistan, has been one of the most dreaded bowlers ever with his amazing pace and viscous swing bowling. His reverse swing is almost unbeatable. Many batsmen have faltered against this great bowler. Great batsmen like Brian Lara and Steve Waugh have fallen victims many times to this great bowler. He held the record for most number of wickets in ODI’s. He has taken 4 hattricks in tests and ODI’s, a feat which no one else can boast of. He is called as the Sultan of Swing and he along with Waqar have destroyed many teams by their deadly toe crushers. He is also a great person and that makes me to admire and respect him a lot.

This is a guy with sheer class and nothing else. He has carried the hopes of the Proteans for almost 5 years now. Whenever they need to win a crucial match, this man has come to their rescue. He is one of the most consistent and formidable batsman in the World today. His elegance in batting coupled with his solid defense makes it very difficult to stop him when he is on song. Apart from being a great batsman, he is also a good medium pace bowler who has this great knack of swinging the ball both ways. Many players have struggled to cope up with his bowling. This makes him, undoubtedly the best allrounder of the present generation of cricketers.

Jonty “The Flyer” Rhodes

This guy has been one of my all time favorites. Being a die hard cricket fan, the next thing that I admired after batting is Fielding. Fielding has always been a passion for me ever since I saw this guy. Jonty Rhodes, one of the best players that South Africa has ever produced is undoubtedly the Best fielders of all times. He has pulled off some amazing catches and has snatched some stunners out of thin air and has made the batsmen look ridiculous with his lightning fast fielding. His direct hits have always been a thing of envy for most of his counterparts. He has won several matches for the Proteas through his fielding and he was even awarded the Man of the match award once, for his fielding. He will be one of my most cherishable cricketers ever.

Sachin Tendulkar - The Cricketing God!!

The name chimes in every house in India whenever a cricket match is played. This has been the golden words for the last decade or so. Sachin Tendulkar, has been playing cricket for the past 18 years and is yet to show any distress or problems in playing the game which he enjoys to the core. He is undoubtedly the best player in the World, the fact which will be accepted by most of the legends. With a record number of records to his credit, he has been the wrecker-in-chief in all matches that have been won by India. He is a fighter and whenever his critics question his batting, he comes up with an amazing knock to shut them up. You can find all the shots in his batting and elegance mixed with power is his forte. “You can commit crimes when Sachin is batting, They will go unnoticed because, even the Lord is watching him play”. He had been out of form for a few matches in the last few months but Im sure that he will regain his form soon as, Form is always temporary whereas Class is permanent.  You will always be the God of Cricket. All hail Sachin, The Cricketing God!!!
