The X-factor

From tennis, I am now coming to my favorite footballers that I admire. When it comes to football, the first thing that comes to my mind is Manchester United. Thinking about ManU, the player that comes to my mind is my favorite, Ruud Van Nistelroy. For those who are a bit confused, let me make it clear. Nistelroy right now plays for Real Madrid but has always been a great player for ManU. He is one guy with loads of magic and talent in his legs. Has the height to outbeat the keepers and he is as handsome as anyone you can see. Love to see you back in ManU.. Ruud.. Man!!”U” Rock!!!

Woohoo!! Maria!!! The name itself breaks a million hearts including mine. She is one of the most gorgeous, beautiful, sexy, lanky tennis star I have ever seen. And, unlike Anna kournikova who paid more interest towards modelling, this girl has the best balance of both Tennis and Modelling. She is currently the World no1 in Tennis and is also making money in the field of modelling. One of the very few females, that I would wish to marry is MaSha. I will sell me head for MaSha, such is the talent and beauty that she possesses. May u rock forever Masha!!!

Now, the guy am going to tell about is one of the rising stars in tennis. He has slowly become one of my favorites in tennis arena. He is undoubtedly the “KING OF CLAY”. He is simply unbeatable in Clay courts. In a sport dominated by the Swiss Iceman Roger Federer, Rafa has shown the people what he is truly made of. He is the only challenger to Federer so far and he will continue to be one in the near future. This spaniard has stolen quite a few hearts with his amazing aggression and flair for the sport. He is best when he is in the baseline and not many players can beat him when he is in the baseline. Over all, this guy is for the future. He is surely going to be the successor of Roger in the near future. May u rock Rafa!!

One of my all time favorites in Women’s tennis has undoubtedly been Steffi Graf. I am a really mad fan of Graf. Whenever I see her losing to Monica Seles, I become really angry and would wait for a day when I could vent my anger with that Seles girl. But afterall, she is a fierce competitor as well. Steffi Graf holds the record for winning all 4 grandslams. She is a great fighter and really ruled the roost in her generation. She was the undisputed Queen of Tennis for many years and she will always be the undisputed queen of my heart in Tennis.

Now moving from cricket, I now come to tennis. I have been watching tennis for the past 7-8 years or so although I dont follow it thoroughly. I just see the important matches in Grand slams. Now, this guy, Goran is my all time favorite in men’s tennis. In a generation when, Tennis was dominated by 2 Americans, Sampras and Agassi, this man fought against all odds and lost many times to Sampras and finally laid his hands on the coveted Wimbledon title that had been deceiving him for a long time. He beat Pat Rafter in the finale. This guy is a powerful player. He isn’t much effective in volleying but is the ace machine. Aces just flow from the racquet of this guy. Miss you a lot!!

One of the most destructive and amazing batsman of recent times has been this man, Kevin Pieterson. Bown in South Africa, this guy couldn’t get a place in the SA cricket team(Wonder why). This guy now is one of the mainstay in the England Cricket team. He rose to fame in the Ashes 2005 when England won the Ashes after 28years. He along with Flintoff scripted an amazing series victory. He absolutely bludgeoned the Aussie attack mercilessly and his assault on Shane Warne and Brett Lee would always be remembered. His explosive nature and his nonchalant reverse sweeps makes him one of the best and favorites in my list of cricketers.
